Sign the beam!
On Saturday, January 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., one of the main steel beams to be used in the new McAuliffe branch library, presently under construction at 746 Water Street in Nobscot, will be on display in front of Hemenway School, across the street from the building site.
Framingham residents are invited to stop by and add their signatures to the beam to commemorate this milestone in the project. Pens will be provided, and library representatives will be on hand to answer questions about the new building and construction progress.
The beam will be under cover in a tent so the event will take place, rain, shine, or snow – hope to see you there!
