  • TM Vote 1/13/11 (approved plan; approved purchase of site)
  • Grant Submitted 1/27/11
  • Grant Notification 7/14/11
    The new McAuliffe branch is sixth on the waiting list of 15
  • Provisional Grant awarded 10/4/12
  • Town Meeting approved funding, 5/1/13
  • Signed contract with the MBLC after the funds were approved
  • Land purchased using MBLC funds on 7/11/13
  • Planning Board approved project on 3/6/2014
  • Select contractor – going out to bid in May, 2014
  • Begin construction – anticipating groundbreaking is July, 2014
  • New McAuliffe branch opens – end of 2015 or early 2016
